It’s summer time and that means you can work on both your tan and your fitness at the same time! So throw on a pair of shorts and some sunscreen and head outside for these 4 killer outdoor workouts
1. HIIT stands for high intensity interval training and it is an excellent way to not only burn calories during your workout, but in the following hours after your workout too. Run through this workout once or twice through for a burn you will be sure to feel the next day (hopefully just a good muscle burn, not a sunburn).
2. A bench is an awesome way to get in a wide range of workouts, and the good news is that benches can be found just about anywhere. Whether you are at the park or waiting for the bus to come pick you up, this workout is a quick and effective way to burn some extra calories!
3. If you get bored of running easily and want to quit, try mixing up your running workout with some muscle building intervals. Running several sets of short distances mixed with other stationary exercises is a great way to burn fat and ensure that you are never bored during a workout again.
4. If you want to get outdoors but still don’t want to leave the comfort of your own home, then this workout is perfect for you. Exercise 1 only requires that you run up and down your street a few times (depending on the length of your street) and the rest of the exercises can all be done right in your font lawn!
