3. Yoga is a Good Exercise for Addressing All Types of Back Pain
If you are suffering from back pain that is muscle-related, yoga can help you build a stronger core and ease your suffering. If your pain is related to a ruptured disc or something that is not muscle-related, however, yoga can actually further your injury. Therefore, it is important to talk to your doctor before starting yoga as a treatment for back pain.
4. Exercise Machines Always Offer a Safe Workout
While exercise machines do help to ensure you are using the right form, it is still possible to become injured by using the machine incorrectly. Therefore, before you start to use an exercise machine, it is important to receive training on how to use it or to read your owner’s manual thoroughly.
5. You Aren’t Getting a Good Workout Unless You’re Sweating
Sweating is your body’s biological response to being overheated. In other words, sweating only means that your body is trying to regulate its internal body temperature. It does not necessarily mean you are getting a good workout. In addition, wearing clothing to purposely make yourself sweat more will only lead to dehydration, which can lead to injury and other health problems.
