When it comes to purchasing an elliptical for use at home, you might think you have to break the bank in order to bring home a quality piece of equipment. The reality is that you can enjoy club quality at home without paying a high price. In fact, the Sole line of ellipticals offers two quality options for less than $2,000. While both models cost more than $1,500, both models offer far more than other ellipticals within the same price range. To that end, here is a look at the best Sole ellipticals for over $1,500 currently available on the market.
The Sole E95 Elliptical
With a price tag that comes in at just under $1,700, the Sole E95 Elliptical offers 10 different pre-programmed programs. These programs take full advantage of the 20 different levels of resistance that the Sole E95 Elliptical has to offer. The elliptical also offers an incline feature that is capable of providing an incline anywhere from 0 to 40 degrees. For improved comfort, the Sole E95 Elliptical features oversized pedals with a 2 degree inward slope that are capable of being adjusted to meet your specific needs. In this way, strain on the knees and ankles is reduced. With its 29-pound flywheel, the Sole E95 Elliptical is capable of accommodating users weighing up to 400 pounds.
The Sole E98 Elliptical
Available for slightly less than $2,000, the Sole E98 Elliptical is a step up from the E95 model. Like the E95, the Sole E98 Elliptical offers an incline of 0 to 40 degrees and 20 levels of resistance. Both models also offer a built-in cooling fan, a water bottle holder, built-in speakers and an MP3 hookup. The Sole E98 Elliptical is different in that it features a 30-pound flywheel and is constructed for both residential and light commercial use.
Regardless of which of these Sole ellipticals you select, both come backed with an extensive warranty. If you purchase the Sole E98 Elliptical for residential purposes, the warranty is the same as the one that comes with the E95 model. In both cases, labor is backed for 2 years, parts and electronics are backed for 5 years and the brakes and frame are backed for life. While the E95 is not rated for commercial use and, therefore, does not have a warranty for that purpose, the E98 does offer a commercial warranty. In this case, labor is covered for one year, parts and electronics are covered for three years and the frame is covered for life.
