The free iPhone and Android app is called Charity Miles and it is quite simple to use. It empowers you to earn money for charity while running, biking or walking. Simply swipe the screen and select a charity from the list provided by the app. Then choose whether you want to run, walk, or bike for that charity. Bikers earn up to 10¢ per mile while walkers and runners earn up to 25¢ per mile all thanks to the generous sponsors of the Charity Miles application.
Yes, you read that right. All you have to do is exercise and a sponsor will donate money to the charity of your choice on YOUR BEHALF! As you exercise, the app will track your distance and the money earned. When you are finished, accept your sponsorship, spread the word and Charity Miles will send you a note confirming your good work.
