The higher caloric content in this bar makes it bestfor a meal replacement bar. It is perfect for when are heading out the door to work in the morning. The fact that it is 310 calories is countered by the 30 grams of protein each bar delivers.  They also make a bar smaller in size. At just 200 calories, it still offers 19 grams of protein. We recommend eating the smaller bar before your workout. It will help keep energy levels up without feeling heavy in your stomach.

We included this on our list because it is less expensive than the majority of other bars on the list. They are also easy to find. They can be found at any major grocery store, so you don’t have to travel to ahealth food location just for your protein bars! Nature Valley protein bars come in a variety of flavors, but this one is by far our favorite. You can’t beat the combo of almonds and coconut!
